Who can apply?
- Completed sophomore year before the program begins, currently enrolled at an accredited US college or university, and not graduated with the first bachelor's before the program.
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and serious consideration of a PhD or MD-PhD biomedical research career.
- International students enrolled full time at a US institution may apply and will need appropriate OPT or CPT documentation if accepted.
Submitting the main form is not the end: supplemental documents and recommendation requests are handled after that step.
Dates, pay & program timing
Applications run November 1, 2026–February 3, 2027. The program is May 25–July 30, with a June 15–August 20 option for quarter-system students. The published ten-week stipend is $6,000; housing is the fellow's responsibility.
