Clarity earns the click
A useful directory, not a shortcut around the facts.
FirstInternships helps current college students understand selected internship pathways before applying. We are an independent directory, not an employer, recruiter, or application service.
What we verify
Program descriptions, eligibility, published dates, compensation statements, and application routes are checked against official publisher pages. Every program guide includes those links and a review date. We do not assert that a pathway is currently accepting applications unless its source establishes that status at review.
How we handle college years
Programs explicitly designed for first- and second-year students are labeled that way. Broad undergraduate programs are starting points, with credit, project, site, and student-status conditions explained. If a publisher does not state a universal minimum year, we say so. ‘Usually penultimate year’ is not converted into a mandatory junior-only rule.
What is editorial advice
Resume, preparation, and planning suggestions are original guidance from the FirstInternships editorial team. They are separated from employer requirements. We do not have inside access to selection decisions, guarantee interview questions, promise offers, or claim a particular response rate.
Updates and corrections
The latest inventory review was September 19, 2026. This is a curated directory, not an automatically refreshed vacancies feed. Dates and availability can change between reviews. Before each recruiting cycle, recheck the official application instructions; if you find an issue, send the page URL and the official correction source.
Report a correctionAdvertising and independence
We plan to fund the free directory with clearly labeled display advertising. AdSense placements remain disabled until an approved account and the required consent setup are configured. Ads do not change a program's stated eligibility or buy it a recommendation. No paid-placement or affiliate relationship is currently asserted for listed programs.
Your data stays small
The planner uses local browser storage. We do not ask for resumes, transcripts, identification documents, or employer passwords. There is no account or email-alert subscription currently offered. Contact messages are sent using your own email app. Read the privacy policy for more.
