These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FirstInternships (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
FirstInternships helps students and job seekers find companies, draft personalized outreach emails with AI, and send them from their own connected email account. You are the sender of every email you send through the Service. We provide a tool; you decide who to contact and what to say.
You must be at least 18 years old to use FirstInternships, and you confirm this at signup. By using the Service you represent that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate.
You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You may not share your account or resell access to the Service.
Free accounts receive 5 contact unlocks per day. Paid plans (currently Pro at $20.00/month for 1,000 contact unlocks per billing cycle) are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Unlocking a contact the first time you email them costs 1 credit (2 for an AI-discovered contact); writing emails and sending follow-ups to unlocked contacts is unlimited and free. Additional credits are available as a top-up at $5.00 per 100 credits.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
When you connect your email account, you grant the Service a send-only permission so it can send messages on your behalf. We do not read, store, or access your inbox. You can revoke this permission at any time through your email provider's security settings.
Email drafts are generated by AI from the information you provide. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving every message before it is sent. We make no warranty that AI output is accurate, appropriate, or effective.
The Service includes a database of company contacts for outreach, including publicly available role-based addresses (such as careers@) and, in some cases, named contacts. If you are a contact in our database and want to be removed, email contactfirstinternships@gmail.com and we will process your request within 5 business days.
The Service, its software, and design are owned by FirstInternships and protected by applicable law. You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to operate the Service for you.
By creating an account and where you have given the marketing consent presented at signup, you grant FirstInternships a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, retain, and share the information associated with your account — including your name, contact details, profile, and outreach activity — to:
This license is not exclusive to FirstInternships and survives for as long as we retain your data. You can withdraw it at any time by toggling marketing off in your settings, using the unsubscribe link in any email, or emailing contactfirstinternships@gmail.com. Withdrawal stops future sharing but does not reverse sharing already completed. Residents of California and other US states may exercise the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" right described in our Privacy Policy; users in the EEA/UK are asked for opt-in consent and may revoke it at any time.
The company contact data in our database (role-based business email addresses) may also be used, shared, or licensed for outreach and marketing purposes, subject to the opt-out described in our Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT YOUR OUTREACH WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIRSTINTERNSHIPS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FirstInternships from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, the emails you send, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation will be submitted to the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting contactfirstinternships@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. On termination, your license to use the Service ends and any unused credits are forfeited.
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
