FirstInternships provides free informational content and planning tools for current college students. By using the directory, you agree to use it responsibly and subject to these terms.
An independent informational directory
We are not an employer, employment agency, application processor, or representative of a listed organization. Names and marks identify their respective organizations; inclusion does not imply affiliation or endorsement. Applications are made on official employer or program websites.
Eligibility and availability
Program guides reflect official sources at their stated review dates, not a continuously refreshed feed of vacancies. Requirements, deadlines, compensation, locations, and availability may change. College-year labels are starting points, not a determination that you qualify. The selected opening and employer's current instructions control.
We do not guarantee selection, interviews, offers, compensation, visa sponsorship, academic credit, or conversion to full-time employment. Editorial preparation advice is general guidance and not inside knowledge of an employer's hiring process.
The personal planner
Saves, notes, checklists, and planning stages are stored locally in your browser. A planning stage such as “Applied” or “Offer” is your own record, not confirmation from an employer. Data can be lost if site data is cleared, storage is blocked, or you change browser/device. Export a copy if you need a backup, and avoid storing sensitive information.
Contact and suggestions
The contact form opens a draft in your email app. It does not send a message or create an internship application. Submit factual suggestions with official source links. Do not send credentials, confidential employer material, or sensitive personal documents.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate employers, submit misleading corrections, or use the directory for spam. Respect copyright, privacy, academic-integrity requirements, and the rules of sites you visit.
Third-party content and advertising
We do not control external sites or their policies. Display advertisements, when enabled, are labeled and separate from editorial program information. An ad is not a recommendation or guarantee. Review the privacy policy for data and advertising information.
No professional advice
Content is educational and is not legal, immigration, tax, financial, or other professional advice. For decisions requiring such advice, use current official information and a qualified adviser where appropriate.
Availability and changes
The site and its informational content are provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties and liability arising from reliance on directory information or interruptions and loss of locally stored planner data. These terms do not exclude rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
