Who can apply?

  • Spotify describes eligibility for students in the graduating or penultimate year of an associate, bachelor's, master's, or PhD program, plus eligible bootcamp routes. This directory covers current associate and bachelor's students.
  • The applicable college year depends on degree length: for example, the penultimate year of an associate degree can be year one.
  • Location, authorization, team requirements, and the active cycle must be checked in the current posting.
Easy to miss

Penultimate-year eligibility changes with degree length; do not assume it always means a four-year-college junior.

Dates, pay & program timing

No universal cutoff confirmed

The program runs for ten weeks between June and August. The official page says the displayed prior cycle is closed and instructs applicants to apply only to active postings; do not infer a future deadline.

How to apply to Spotify

  1. Check the student page for an active role that fits your degree timing and location.
  2. Research the team and tailor your resume; add a relevant cover letter, portfolio, or personal site when it strengthens the application.
  3. Submit directly to the active Spotify posting and track that role rather than the general program page.
