Who can apply?

  • Applicants must be enrolled in a recognized undergraduate or graduate program and have attended classes in the previous 12 months, or qualify through WFP's recent-graduate route.
  • At least two years of undergraduate study must be complete, and fluent English is required. Additional official or duty-station languages can strengthen or be required for a vacancy.
  • The individual opening controls degree relevance, location, schedule, authorization and technical qualifications. The global program rule is only the starting point.

How to apply to World Food Programme

  1. Confirm two completed undergraduate years, recent classroom attendance and English fluency before opening WFP's current job search.
  2. Choose a vacancy by function and duty station, then tailor the application to its stated work in food security, logistics, data, communications, finance or another team.
  3. Submit through WFP's official system by that opening's deadline and confirm the stipend, insurance, travel eligibility, dates and location in the written process.

Our editorial advice · not employer requirements

How to prepare a stronger application

Show one example of using evidence under a real constraint: allocating resources, cleaning data, planning an operation or communicating an urgent issue. State which part you owned and which assumptions remain.

Read the selected office's public work and prepare a respectful question about how interns support existing local expertise. Avoid framing humanitarian work as personal adventure or access to vulnerable people.
