Who can apply?
- The ACLU National Office internship page and current board include undergraduate, graduate and legal-student opportunities; each opening controls the education level and completed-year rule.
- National-office and state-affiliate opportunities are separate; follow the employer named on the opening and do not transfer one office's rules to another.
- A stipend may be offset by outside funding, so review the selected internship's written terms, authorization condition and exact amount.
A current ACLU board is not one universal program: undergraduate, graduate and legal openings set different completed-year, location, schedule and document rules.

At the November 3, 2026 review, the official National Office board listed current Spring and Summer 2027 openings across legal, policy, communications, technology, research and operations teams. Schedules, priority dates and closing rules differ by role.
