Who can apply?

  • Withum's program table marks internships for sophomores, juniors, seniors and master's students; freshmen are directed to Tour de Withum rather than the internship route.
  • The current campus opening controls major, degree, graduation, CPA-credit, office, authorization, schedule and compensation.
  • Withum says entry-level candidates can be hired without 150 credits, but interview guidance still asks candidates to explain their CPA-exam and remaining-credit plans. That statement is not automatic internship eligibility.
Easy to miss

Tour de Withum accepts a wider range of class years but is a leadership and exploration program, not the same application as a spring or summer internship.

Dates, pay & program timing

No universal cutoff confirmed

Withum offers spring and summer internships, prefers applications in late summer or early fall and reviews resumes on a rolling basis. Current campus opportunities determine the actual year and closing date.

  1. Use Explore Campus Opportunities to find a current internship by term, office and service line, or apply through an official campus event.
  2. Read the opening for degree, graduation, CPA-credit, authorization, schedule, pay and application materials, then submit before rolling review fills the role.
  3. If selected, prepare for a recruiter screening followed by a virtual or in-person interview with senior team members from the relevant office.

Our editorial advice · not employer requirements

How to prepare a stronger application

Know the difference between public and private accounting and be ready to explain your CPA-credit plan; Withum includes both in its own interview guidance.

Research the office and service line, prepare specific questions and practice one example of accurate work plus one of responding constructively to feedback.
