Who can apply?
- Students must be concurrently enrolled in an accredited degree-seeking program and return to that program after the internship or co-op.
- Intuitive says it has historically hired rising juniors and above across bachelor's, master's and PhD programs, but the hiring manager sets the qualifications for each opening.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the role is advertised. The US FAQ says F-1 students may be eligible; confirm the selected role and your own authorization.
'Rising junior and above' is a historical recruiting pattern in Intuitive's FAQ, not a universal eligibility rule that replaces the current posting.
Dates, pay & program timing
Recruiting spans fall, winter and spring, with most summer internships beginning in May or June. Interns work 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks; individual teams interview and close on different schedules.

How to apply to Intuitive
- Search the official Intuitive student page for an internship or co-op by field and location, then confirm you can return to school after it.
- Review degree level, authorization, schedule, location, compensation and technical qualifications in the posting; do not rely only on the historical rising-junior pattern.
- Apply through Intuitive Careers. The published process can include application screening, a phone conversation, a Zoom interview and an offer with a background check.

How to prepare a stronger application
For engineering, research or design, explain one project through the need, constraint, iteration and test result. Be explicit about your own contribution to team work.
For finance, marketing, HR or IT, use an example that connects your analysis or process improvement to a user, team or measurable outcome.
