Our editorial advice · not employer requirements

How to prepare a stronger application

The analyst posting requires SQL proficiency. Prepare a short analysis you can walk through query by query — joins, aggregations, a window function — and the business question it answered, such as how ride demand changed by hour.

Marketplace data has two sides, riders and drivers. Show you can reason about both: an example where changing one thing affected two groups differently is good preparation. This is our suggestion, not Lyft's process.
