Who can apply?

  • Intuit requires current enrollment in a degree-seeking program — associate's, bachelor's, master's, MBA, PhD or equivalent — with an expected graduation date after the internship ends.
  • US internships are 12-week summer placements. Intuit does not offer co-ops in the United States, nor fall or spring internships.
  • All intern roles are paid, and Intuit points applicants to the job description or their university recruiter for compensation ranges.
Easy to miss

You do not choose your office. If you can only work in one city, weigh that before accepting, because Intuit assigns location by team and tells you as part of matching.

Dates, pay & program timing

No universal cutoff confirmed

US internships are hybrid, with interns expected on site at least three days a week at their assigned office; Intuit says this expectation may change. The office is set by the team and role, not by preference or where you live. The program page publishes no application dates; openings are searched on Intuit Careers.

How to apply to Intuit

  1. Confirm your expected graduation date falls after the internship ends, then search Intuit Careers for current intern roles.
  2. Choose a role family — software engineering, data, design, product, finance, marketing or sales — and read the posting's compensation range and requirements.
  3. Apply knowing you cannot choose the office; Intuit assigns it with the team when you are matched.

Our editorial advice · not employer requirements

How to prepare a stronger application

Intuit's products — TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma and Mailchimp — serve consumers and small businesses dealing with money. A project that made a financial or administrative task easier for a real user, and how you knew it worked, is directly on point.

Many intern projects touch Intuit's AI-driven platform. If you have used a language model or other ML model in a project, be ready to describe how you evaluated its output, not just that you used it. This is our suggestion.
