Who can apply?
- The BMS internships page describes 10–12 week summer internships in all of its functional areas and says student opportunities vary from year to year. It does not state a class year, GPA or pay on that page.
- Requirements are set posting by posting. The 2027 Global Procurement internship reviewed asks for a bachelor's program with expected graduation in spring or summer 2028, a GPA of at least 3.0 shown on the resume, and US work authorization without sponsorship; a 2027 Devens supply chain posting asks for third-year-or-above bachelor's or master's students.
- Both 2027 postings reviewed publish a compensation figure for the internship and state that visa sponsorship is not available for the role.
'Applications accepted August–March' describes the recruiting season, not a promise that a posting stays open that long. BMS reviews most early career applications on a rolling basis, so a role you find in February may already be filled.
Dates, pay & program timing
BMS says it accepts summer internship applications from August through March, that most early career programs take rolling applications, and recommends applying as soon as is convenient. Co-ops for college credit run six months, with spring (January–June) and fall (July–December) sessions. 2027 summer postings were live on the review date; the Global Procurement posting gives program dates of June 7 to August 13, 2027.

How to apply to Bristol Myers Squibb
- Search the BMS openings for students and graduates and narrow to 2027 summer internships in your area; the internships page says the mix of roles changes each year.
- For each posting, check the graduation window or class-standing rule, the GPA requirement and the location before writing anything — two 2027 postings reviewed used different rules.
- Apply early rather than waiting for March. BMS describes rolling applications, so a role can fill well before the end of the August-to-March season.

Our editorial advice · not employer requirements
How to prepare a stronger application
The BMS student page gives its own resume advice: keep it to one page if you can, skip or explain acronyms, and make sure it matches your LinkedIn profile. Lab and supply chain students especially tend to write in course shorthand — spell out each technique or system once.
The same page suggests preparing a one-minute answer to 'tell me about yourself', planning questions of your own, and sending a thank-you note afterwards. Build the one-minute answer around the function you applied to, since BMS internships sit in specific teams rather than a general rotation.
