Who can apply?

  • The Markets program overview does not publish one degree, graduation-date, class-year, GPA, language or work-authorization rule for all locations. Each live Sales, Trading, Research or Global Markets posting controls.
  • JPMorganChase's general student page says internships are offered to undergraduates in their next-to-last year, but a regional posting may express eligibility through an exact graduation window instead.
  • The program emphasizes critical thinking, communication, analytical and quantitative skill, accurate work under pressure and collaboration. Experience with Java, C++, Python or Matlab is described as a plus, not a universal requirement.
Easy to miss

The US Summer 2027 Markets date had already passed at review while some international roles remained available. One open region is not evidence that every location is accepting applications.

Dates, pay & program timing

No universal cutoff confirmed

The internship lasts nine weeks and begins with five days of orientation and classroom training, followed by mentoring, a speaker series and trading simulations. At review, the official feed showed Summer 2027 Tokyo Sales & Marketing and Trading applications dated October 19; London Global Markets, Sales and Research applications dated November 1; and a Paris Global Markets application dated November 29. The US Markets Summer Analyst date of October 1 had passed. Dates vary by role and were published without a closing time.

How to apply to JPMorganChase

  1. Choose one current Markets posting and read whether it is Sales, Trading, Research or a rotational Global Markets role; do not assume those routes share identical qualifications.
  2. Put your degree, expected graduation and location or language fit on the resume, then foreground one example of quantitative reasoning, market research or client communication that matches the selected route.
  3. Apply through the official location-specific posting before its own published date and save the requisition. If the region is no longer listed, use the talent updates rather than treating the evergreen overview as an open application.

Our editorial advice · not employer requirements

How to prepare a stronger application

Prepare a short market view with a claim, two pieces of evidence, a catalyst, the largest risk and what data would change your mind. That structure is more useful for a trading simulation or desk conversation than reciting market headlines without a position.

The program spans sales, trading and research. Be ready to explain which work fits you and why: building a client relationship, making a time-sensitive risk decision or investigating a company or sector. If you list code, use a language you can discuss under pressure; JPMorganChase calls programming a plus, not a substitute for markets judgment.
