Who can apply?

  • The official 2027 recruiting roadmap accepts candidates pursuing an undergraduate degree or fifth-year master's degree who expect to graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Insight welcomes all fields of study. The program emphasizes hustle, intellectual curiosity, interest in technology, teamwork, an outgoing approach to meeting people and creative sourcing.
  • A complete application includes a resume, unofficial transcript and HireVue video cover letter. Applications are reviewed in completion order, not merely when the first form is started.
Easy to miss

The 2027 application is closed. The talent pool can provide future updates, but it is not a late 2027 application and does not preserve the old graduation window for a later cohort.

How to apply to Insight Partners

  1. Do not attempt to treat the closed 2027 form as open. Join Insight's Campus Recruiting Talent Pool if you want official future-cycle updates.
  2. For a future opening, verify its new graduation window and deadline, then prepare the resume and unofficial transcript before beginning the HireVue video cover letter.
  3. Complete every required component early because Insight says review follows the order in which applications become complete.
  4. If invited, use the published sequence as a planning model while checking the new cycle: first-round phone interview followed by in-person superdays until the class fills.

Our editorial advice · not employer requirements

How to prepare a stronger application

Insight says sourcing analysts engage entrepreneurs, evaluate business models, help structure and model deals and develop investment memos. Choose one software company and draft a short sourcing note: customer problem, business model, growth evidence, competitive risk and the founder question you would ask first.

The application required a HireVue video cover letter. Practice a concise response that connects your interest in technology investing to one piece of original company or market research, then explain what you still need to learn. Avoid reciting Insight's marketing language or pretending a classroom model is a live deal.
