Who can apply?

  • Participants must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree at an accredited four-year college or university, be a rising junior—currently a sophomore—or above, and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Spectrum says it is not sponsoring international students at this time. Individual postings can add a major, graduation range, location or other work-authorization condition.
  • Housing support may be available based on need and availability. It is not guaranteed, so candidates should price the selected location independently.
Easy to miss

The 3.0 GPA and current-sophomore-or-above rules are program-level minimums, but they do not replace a posting's narrower major or graduation requirements.

Our editorial advice · not employer requirements

How to prepare a stronger application

Match one class, job or organization project to the selected team's work. Explain the problem, your responsibility, the evidence you used and how someone benefited from the result.

Prepare a short video introduction that names the function you want, the proof you bring and why the selected Spectrum role fits. Keep it specific enough to help routing rather than retelling your entire resume.
