Who can apply?
- Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information systems, information technology or a related technical discipline and graduate in 2027 or 2028.
- Candidates must permanently reside and work in the United States, align their schedule with 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time and be available for the complete June 14-to-August 20 program.
- The posting asks for experience with at least one scripting or programming language, foundational Linux, networking, API, Git and cloud concepts, plus relevant coursework, projects or internship exposure. It does not publish a GPA or one undergraduate class-year rule.
The graduation window alone is not the whole location rule. Applicants must permanently reside and work in the United States and keep Pacific-time hours for the full program.

How to apply to Sephora
- Verify the graduation window, US-residence requirement, Pacific-time schedule and complete program availability before tailoring the application.
- Choose one reliability or automation project you can explain end to end. Show the original operational problem, the signal or metric you used, the change you made, the tests you ran and the measurable effect without claiming production scale you did not have.
- Open the official role page to confirm its status and use Sephora's current job search for another student opening. Job ID 297533 was filled at the October 15 review, so this guide is preparation context rather than an active application route.

Our editorial advice · not employer requirements
How to prepare a stronger application
SRE interviews reward failure-aware thinking. Take a class, club or personal system and identify what can break, how you would notice, which alert would be actionable and how you would reduce manual recovery. A small system you genuinely operated is better evidence than a list of cloud logos.
The posting asks interns to document architecture, processes, test evidence and knowledge transfer. Bring a sample README, runbook or design note that another person could actually follow, then be ready to discuss one place where feedback made the documentation clearer.
