Who can apply?

  • Aprio's student page does not publish one class-year, degree, GPA, authorization or CPA-credit rule for the whole internship program. Use the current Careers or Handshake posting.
  • Internships span accounting, consulting and business advisory, with exact teams, locations, documents and qualifications supplied by the opening.
  • HeadStart is a one-day virtual program for freshmen, sophomores and students exploring or switching into accounting. It offers early access to next-year internship interviews but is not itself the internship.
Easy to miss

Aprio 101's published Spring 2026 sessions are past, and HeadStart is a separate exploration program. Neither should be presented as a current internship opening.

How to apply to Aprio

  1. Choose a term and practice, then follow Aprio's student page to Careers or Handshake for a current internship whose location and schedule fit.
  2. Submit the resume and any additional documents named by the opening after checking education, graduation, authorization, pay and professional-credential conditions.
  3. If selected, prepare for the campus recruiting interview with evidence of curiosity, reliable execution, feedback and a specific reason for the chosen practice.

Our editorial advice · not employer requirements

How to prepare a stronger application

For spring busy-season roles, be ready to discuss organization and dependable deadline work. For summer, also prepare examples of learning through coaching and building professional relationships.

Use a course, campus budget, customer-facing job or analysis project to show why accounting or advisory work interests you; Aprio says it does not expect interns to arrive with full technical expertise.
